I got used to work at home. In the last years i was kind of a "drawing provider" drawing stuff for all kind of activistic, resistance or protest movements in Romania or elsewhere. I was very often asked to produce a short-quick-in your face drawing for a Facebook page, a T-shirt or a protest banner.

I also have a steady job (ha ha) providing drawings for the weekly magazine Revista 22 where I draw since 1990. And since the end of last year I have also been publishing drawings for https://www.internationaleonline.org/ and https://romania.europalibera.org/

Me busy.

Lia and I build a house-studio-library-deposit in our hometown Sibiu in Transylvania. The walls are high and full of books. It is wonderful at home. I like to stay home. But a week.

And for me this is the worst: to stay put. I used to have every week a project or two (lectures, workshops, meetings, exhibitions) and every other week to fly someplace. I think I was in perpetual motion the last 10 years. It became a way of life, a way of art and a way of research. Being there. Not faraway but on the spot and physically drawing the walls, windows, lobbies and staircases of art institutions.

And now at home for.... nobody know how long...

If there is a thing I learned from my dictatorship time is this: adapt and use humour. What's happening now is tough for me but nothing new.... empty shelves, closed borders, limited freedom of speech... hello people, welcome to Romania before 1989!
